Payroll & Labor Compliance Administrator

?? Contract Assignment: September 14, 2026 - April 2, 2027
?? Pay: $30.00 - $37.00/hour DOE
?? Interviews begin after the hiring manager returns from PTO on August 31

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Labor Compliance Administrator with experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of prevailing wage regulations. This individual will be responsible for payroll administration, certified payroll reporting, and labor compliance activities for public works and government-funded projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify weekly payroll and employee time records.
  • Prepare and submit certified payroll reports.
  • Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements, including Davis-Bacon Act and California DIR regulations.
  • Track and report Skilled & Trained Workforce (STW) requirements.
  • Maintain accurate payroll, labor compliance, and audit documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams regarding compliance deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Utilize systems such as LCPtracker, eComply, or similar certified payroll platforms.

Qualifications

? 2+ years of payroll, certified payroll, or labor compliance experience
? Construction industry experience required
? Working knowledge of prevailing wage laws and labor compliance requirements
? Experience with LCPtracker, eComply, or similar certified payroll systems
? Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills
? Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with public works projects
  • OCIP/CCIP reporting experience
  • Experience supporting labor compliance audits
